NYC Votes leads the city’s efforts to register thousands of New Yorkers each September on National Voter Registration Day.
National Voter Registration Day (NVRD) is a nationwide, nonpartisan day of coordinated field, technology, and media efforts to create awareness of voter registration opportunities — allowing us to reach tens of thousands of New Yorkers we could not reach otherwise.
NYC Votes is leading the NVRD initiative in NYC on September 27, 2016 by coordinating with dozens of partners to host voter registration drives and events across the five boroughs. NYC Votes registers thousands of voters each year at NVRD events, which often include live music, prizes, and special guests.
